Freezing ginger, garlic and green pepper in bulk

Cut the hard tip of each garlic clove and chop them in the food processor. You don't have to peel each clove. Mix in salt and freeze it in an airtight container.

Scrub ginger to remove all sand particles, wash well and spread on a cloth to dry. Cut them into medium sized pieces and chop in food processor. Mix in salt and freeze them in ice trays. When frozen remove these ginger cubes and store in closed box in the freezer.

Wash and pat dry the green chillies with a towel.  Remove stalks and freeze them in a plastic box.Take them out as many you require and cut them as per recipe.
